Inspired by the subtle yet sublime patterns that enrich our daily surroundings, the Surface Collection designed by GROUNDWORK Studio for Massimo Copenhagen, is made of hand-tufted New Zealand wool and currently features two patterns and three colours rendered in monochromatic tones. Meticulously hand-tufted in two distinct pile heights, employing both classic pile and bouclé weaving techniques these repetitive patterns adds depth and character to the rugs’ monochromatic geometric expression. The collection aims to elevate the interiors reaching beyond the colour considerations and contribute to creating a harmonious ambience that can be felt through the merge of surfaces and a unity of different surfaces, patterns and textures.
