The Matrix Lounge Sofa System by GROUNDWORK Studio is a made-to-order sofa concept based on a structural grid that defines measurements of seat cushions, arm- and backrests. The inscribed grid allows for a modular and apprehensible approach to any individual sofa configuration. Matrix is available in a curated selection of fabrics with an emphasis on textured surfaces in warm natural colours that offer a delicate contrast to the thinwalled base in polished raw aluminium or the more conventional leg option in powder coated steel. The upholstery build up underlines a slighly lazy yet defined softness that makes the sofa ideal for both laid back lounging and conversation.

As a part of the modular options, tabletops of natural stone (Gris du Marais) are available as extension to or placed in between upholstered modules allowing for a seamlessly integrated look and functionality. A line of fixed size stand-alone coffee tables are also available to complement and finalize the setting.
